Geoffrey Davis Kearney is a second-generation Arkansas attorney with deep roots in the state. He is a native of Pine Bluff, where his mother was born and raised and his grandfather was the first Chancellor of UAPB. His father, a native of Lincoln County, practiced law in Pine Bluff for over 30 years before becoming a judge in 2009. Though Geoffrey has studied, lived, and worked in several different parts of the country, he considers it a blessing to have the opportunity to establish his law office in his hometown and is proud to represent his fellow Arkansans. He brings a broad range of experience to a true general practice.

Immediately prior to opening his own firm, Geoffrey worked in civil litigation, defending large corporations and insureds in high stakes litigation. He brings that experience to his current practice, in which he accepts clients in such areas as personal injury, insurance disputes, and general civil litigation.

Geoffrey has also had two prestigious federal judicial clerkships. First, he clerked for the Honorable Staci M. Yandle, U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of Illinois, in Benton, Illinois. He then clerked for the Honorable Lavenski R. Smith, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, in Little Rock. Additionally, he previously worked at the Arkansas Court of Appeals for the Honorable Brandon J. Harrison. These opportunities gave him substantial experience addressing a diverse array of legal issues, including state, federal, civil, and criminal matters, at both the trial court and appellate levels.
